That being said, I thought it would be interesting to play as fairytale character adaptations. When I say adaptations, I don't mean modern times, rather, characters in a largely medieval, typical story-type place, several years (varying) after the stories of most of them, and the stories themselves are generally somewhat different. In addition, the whole land would be at war currently, divided up, mostly among three factions at odds.
The Woodlanders, most non-humans and things from the woods, such as talking animals, Red Riding Hood, Elf-folk, etc.
The Uglies, so dubbed by the other two sides, mainly the aesthetically displeasing or disturbing, such as witches, goblins, trolls, dragons, the like.
The Radiant, those more "civilized", mostly human figures willing to live in structures and kingdoms. People such as prince Charming, wizards, and queens.
Each of these sides would have their own territories, customs, leaders, and problems, which I'll go into more detail on if the general idea catches. Basically, if you'd like to join, just say so and also suggest several fairy tale characters you'd be interested in rping. I'd chose one for you in the end, and tell you which side their on, their job, their "actual" story, etc. The one I choose might not be one you suggest, but your suggestion will help me determine what kind of character to give you.

I'll expand on the universe itself a bit. I don't expect many if any participants, but I'd just like to do it because the idea's in my head, and might as well be out here if ever it could be used.
